How custom insoles are made — end-to-end digital
There is no plaster cast, no manual milling, and no guesswork. Each step of the insoles4.me workflow is captured digitally.
Scan-to-print: a fully digital workflow
Digital intake feeds directly into parametric design software, which generates a production file sent straight to the 3D printer. The result is a reproducible, patient-specific insole made without the variation that manual fabrication introduces.
3D printing in flexible TPU
Our production partner uses industrial additive manufacturing systems to print each insole in thermoplastic polyurethane. TPU is flexible enough to absorb impact yet structured enough to provide meaningful support.
Traditional vs. digital insole production
Traditional methods rely on plaster casts, manual measurement and milling — each step introducing potential inaccuracy. Digital production captures data once and reproduces it precisely every time, including for reorders.
Quality and production infrastructure
Manufacturing is carried out in Europe by certified production partners, ensuring quality standards and fast delivery across the EU and UK.
