Frequently asked questions about custom insoles
What are custom 3D printed insoles?
Custom 3D printed insoles are foot supports manufactured to the exact shape and requirements of an individual foot, produced using additive manufacturing rather than traditional casting or milling.
How does the smartphone foot scan work?
You use our guided app to capture your foot from defined angles. The scan requires an iPhone or iPad with Face ID (TrueDepth camera) — Android and other devices are not supported. If you don't have a compatible device, order our free foam impression kit instead. The images are processed into a 3D model of your foot geometry, which drives the insole design.
Are insoles4.me insoles medical devices?
No. insoles4.me insoles are non-medical comfort and support products. They are not intended to treat or diagnose medical conditions. If you have a clinical need, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are typically delivered within 5–7 business days across Europe after confirmation of your foot data.
What materials are used?
Insoles are printed in flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), chosen for its durability, flexibility and ability to retain its structure under load.
Can I reorder without scanning again?
Yes. Your digital foot profile is stored securely, so reorders are processed without any repeat scanning.
